14:15 We progress to Trung Trang cave by our bus on Cat Ba island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave.
Trung Trang Valley is the largest one in Cat Ba Island. The valley covers an area of approximately 300 hectares, has 10m to 30m depth, and is around 15 km2, in the middle of Cat Ba National Park. Trung Trang Cave measures 300m lengthwise penetrates in the mountains. The cave was formed by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination. After Trung Trang Cave.
We take few short trekking at the entrance of Cat Ba National Park in order getting to know more about the typical creation of tropical forest.

6:30 You would spend about 10 minutes travelling on our tender to nearby fishing area. The tender maintains a distance of 20-30m (60-90 ft) away from the Chã. On sea scape you could observe a man and a woman in fishery classic costume netting within 20 minutes. On tender you could take photos, making your own video clip of this performance or lime stone islets on the bay.
(Chã is a traditional small boat, made of timber frame and bamboo coated with natural plant compound or asphalt mixture)

9:30 The boat docks at Viet Hai pier. Passengers choose bicycles or electric cars to travel 3,5 km into the village. Viet Hai village is in a valley within Cat Ba National Reserve.
10:00 You could either shoot photos, video or walking old houses. Meeting village folks to observe local daily life is another suggestion. In summer it is beautiful rice field, winter time you may do some trekking on lime stone cliffs and mountains.

The name halong came from the legend that a dragon landed on this bay. The view is wonderful. Each one of scattered islands gave me wonderful photos. My trip was just a day trip and I think it is too short. Spend at least one night. Yes photos of ha long bay are stunning, but you will be more stunned if you actually go there and see them with your own eyes..
Halong Bay was Visit on our Cambodia/Vietnam tour, we were very lucky to have our own guide and Junk Boat with crew.The Bay is such a beautiful place, we had a wonderful time spending all morning on the boat with lunch cooked for us.Halong Bay is certainly a must Visit if touring North Vietnam, fully recommended..
The views of the limestone islands in the Bay are stunning, especially if the weather cooperates. Strongly encourage one night on one of the many boats that ply the bay to allow for a less hurried itinerary and the very pleasant experiences of sunrise and sunset views. The boats are highly regulated and must stick to designated areas, but they are enough for lots of enjoyment. Various stops at caves, lookouts, kayaking, and small beach. Very good food on board our cruise with A-Class Stellar Cruises! Cabin was much cleaner and more "luxurious" than I expected..
Took the float plane both ways to save time. We only had one day and this was the best way to spend it. Thoroughly recommend the organisation we went with..
2 night 3 day cruise with v spirit, highly recommend, magic site even though we didn't go far into the bay. Lots of other boats at times added and detracted from the experience. Highly recommebd taking the extra night. Be careful who you go with as we heard some horro stories. Recommend v spirit great people, great service and food..
Just go and enjoy.. We stayed in a local boat Signagture over night so had a great opportunity to spend time just looking at the stunning scenery.. we also went canoeing to see some hidden away caves..
Halong Bay has been a dream of mine to visit for so long. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I could never get tired of the views! The colours and layers of all the cliffs and mountains are spectacular. Just make sure you find the right cruise - ours was overpriced and not worth it so do your research first! Also don't be surprised that there are a large number of boats around at night as they all park up together, but during the day we seemed to be on our own quite a lot. I think in the future this place won't be so nice as there is already so much rubbish floating around that it will continue to accumulate. Save this place by not littering and taking any rubbish back with you that you can..
This area has been a World Heritage Place among seven wonders of nature since 1994. What a beautiful spot on earth. A Halong Bay with its breathtaking beauty was undeniable and it is the most popular site to visit in Hanoi. There are many other things to do pay on the bay as well, like caving many many caves to choose from. Very helpful and informative and fun as well. If by overnight cruise, you can kayak by yourself to discover the bay, the cave more exciting..
the local village tour to Muong Hoa valley, Lao Chai and ta Vun village were worth for a visit. They also arrange a free taxi from our hotel in Sapa town to cable car station for us to visit Fansian peak..

14:15 We progress to Trung Trang cave by our bus on Cat Ba island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave.
Trung Trang Valley is the largest one in Cat Ba Island. The valley covers an area of approximately 300 hectares, has 10m to 30m depth, and is around 15 km2, in the middle of Cat Ba National Park. Trung Trang Cave measures 300m lengthwise penetrates in the mountains. The cave was formed by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination. After Trung Trang Cave.
We take few short trekking at the entrance of Cat Ba National Park in order getting to know more about the typical creation of tropical forest.
17:00 La Pinta Cruise gets in the less populated area at Tra Bau area where is located in Lan Ha Bay. You will enjoy the green emerald and cool water by swimming & Kayaking…
18:30 Join La Pinta chefs for a cooking show where you could learn how to make of some Vietnamese traditional dishes and taste it. Also, you are welcome to take part in our special activity** or any activity at your choice.

19:30 Dinner is served on board.
20:30-23:00 After finishing dinner, you could view the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic music, watching magic show, enjoy drinks from the bar while watching Top Gear Vietnam Special - a TV series by BBC or try your luck at squid fishing. Or you could also grab some drinks and have your leisure time outside your cabin private balcony. Overnight on board.

06:00 : Have Taichi class on cruise sundeck, enjoy time for tea and sunrise
7:15 Light buffet breakfast is served on board.
8:15 Start your excursion with a boat trip to Lan Ha Bay for sightseeing.
9:30 The boat docks at Viet Hai pier. Passengers choose bicycles or electric cars to travel 3,5 km into the village. Viet Hai village is in a valley within Cat Ba National Reserve.
10:00 You could either shoot photos, video or walking old houses. Meeting village folks to observe local daily life is another suggestion. In summer it is beautiful rice field, winter time you may do some trekking on lime stone cliffs and mountains.
11:30 Local lunch is served with fresh sea foods and local foods.
Afternoon:
13:00 Enjoy a ride on bicycles or electric cars back toViet Hai pier.
13:30 Our trip boat takes you to Van Boi aea - a small beach nearby. Here you can do some kayaking or swimming.
15:30 Back onto day trip boat to transfer to La Pinta Cruise.
17:00 Cruise to anchor place in Rang Dua. Free time to relax, join a cooking classic or take part in our special activity** on sundeck (if weather permits).

19:30 2nd dinner on board.

Morning:
6:00 Wake up in the middle of the bay, inhale the fresh air and have taichi class on cruise sundeck, watch the sunrise on broad horizon and admire the breathtaking seascape.
6:30 You would spend about 10 minutes travelling on our tender to nearby fishing area. The tender maintains a distance of 20-30m (60-90 ft) away from the Chã. On sea scape you could observe a man and a woman in fishery classic costume netting within 20 minutes. On tender you could take photos, making your own video clip of this performance or lime stone islets on the bay.
(Chã is a traditional small boat, made of timber frame and bamboo coated with natural plant compound or asphalt mixture)
7:00 Back to the cruise.
7:15 Breakfast with light buffet.
8:00 Transfers to Dark & Bright cave, explore this lovely cave by bamboo boats.
8:45 Back onto cruise, please join our special activity** or any activity at your choice on board.
9:15 Pack & check-out.
9:45 Farewellbrunch is served at the restaurant. You could observe the scenes at different angles and grab this chance to do taking photosing as the boat slowly cruises passing by many islets of Halong Bay on her waterway back to pier.
11:45 La Pinta cruise returns at Got Pier.
12:00 Disembark and say goodbye to the cruise.
12h:15 Transfer back to Hanoi by Limo service (optional).

14:30 Arrive in Hanoi old quarter*, drop off at your hotel.

The name halong came from the legend that a dragon landed on this bay. The view is wonderful. Each one of scattered islands gave me wonderful photos. My trip was just a day trip and I think it is too short. Spend at least one night. Yes photos of ha long bay are stunning, but you will be more stunned if you actually go there and see them with your own eyes..
Halong Bay was Visit on our Cambodia/Vietnam tour, we were very lucky to have our own guide and Junk Boat with crew.The Bay is such a beautiful place, we had a wonderful time spending all morning on the boat with lunch cooked for us.Halong Bay is certainly a must Visit if touring North Vietnam, fully recommended..
The views of the limestone islands in the Bay are stunning, especially if the weather cooperates. Strongly encourage one night on one of the many boats that ply the bay to allow for a less hurried itinerary and the very pleasant experiences of sunrise and sunset views. The boats are highly regulated and must stick to designated areas, but they are enough for lots of enjoyment. Various stops at caves, lookouts, kayaking, and small beach. Very good food on board our cruise with A-Class Stellar Cruises! Cabin was much cleaner and more "luxurious" than I expected..
Took the float plane both ways to save time. We only had one day and this was the best way to spend it. Thoroughly recommend the organisation we went with..
2 night 3 day cruise with v spirit, highly recommend, magic site even though we didn't go far into the bay. Lots of other boats at times added and detracted from the experience. Highly recommebd taking the extra night. Be careful who you go with as we heard some horro stories. Recommend v spirit great people, great service and food..
Just go and enjoy.. We stayed in a local boat Signagture over night so had a great opportunity to spend time just looking at the stunning scenery.. we also went canoeing to see some hidden away caves..
Halong Bay has been a dream of mine to visit for so long. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I could never get tired of the views! The colours and layers of all the cliffs and mountains are spectacular. Just make sure you find the right cruise - ours was overpriced and not worth it so do your research first! Also don't be surprised that there are a large number of boats around at night as they all park up together, but during the day we seemed to be on our own quite a lot. I think in the future this place won't be so nice as there is already so much rubbish floating around that it will continue to accumulate. Save this place by not littering and taking any rubbish back with you that you can..
This area has been a World Heritage Place among seven wonders of nature since 1994. What a beautiful spot on earth. A Halong Bay with its breathtaking beauty was undeniable and it is the most popular site to visit in Hanoi. There are many other things to do pay on the bay as well, like caving many many caves to choose from. Very helpful and informative and fun as well. If by overnight cruise, you can kayak by yourself to discover the bay, the cave more exciting..
the local village tour to Muong Hoa valley, Lao Chai and ta Vun village were worth for a visit. They also arrange a free taxi from our hotel in Sapa town to cable car station for us to visit Fansian peak..
