Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Lan Ha Bay - Tra Bau Area

7:45 – 8:15: The limousine car of Harmony Boutique Cruises will pick up passengers at Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for the interesting trip to Halong.

11:40 - 12:00: After tourists reach the tourism port, the tender boat will embark and transfer tourists to the main vessel of Harmony Boutique Cruises that anchors at the quay side.

12:00 - 12:20: Tourists move to the main boat of Harmony Boutique Cruises at the less-crowded area in Halong Bay.

12:20 - 12:45: After check-in onboard, tourists will enjoy a welcome drink and receive a brief introduction about Harmony Boutique Cruises and some onboard regulations.

12:45 - 14:30: While the vessel is setting sail for the route Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, you will have your first lunch at the spacious restaurant and contemplate the magnificent scenery outside.

15:15 - 17:15: Harmony Boutique Cruises passes through Cua Van Floating Village, one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay, then reaches the fascinating Dark and Light Cave. 06:00: Sunrise in Lan Ha Bay is a miraculous moment that every tourist should not ignore. Get up early to breathe the fresh air and join the Taichi class on the sundeck.

07:00 - 07:45: Tourists will have a light breakfast with pastries, a cup of tea or coffee at the restaurant of Harmony Boutique Cruises.

08:30 - 11:00: Tourists transfer to the tender boat to visit Viet Hai Fishing Village, an ancient village on the side of Cat Ba National Park. There you can take a visit by bike or by electric car to the pristine houses of the local residents, admire the beauty of the paddy fields and mystery rainy forests.

11:30 - 13:00: Tourists get back to the tender boat to enjoy lunch and recharge energy for the afternoon excursion.

13:30: The tender boat of Harmony Boutique Cruises will take tourists to Van Boi area, the heart of Lan Ha Bay which is featured by the white smooth sand beach and coral reefs. There you can immerse your body in the emerald water or sail a kayak to discover the surrounding area.

The name halong came from the legend that a dragon landed on this bay. The view is wonderful. Each one of scattered islands gave me wonderful photos. My trip was just a day trip and I think it is too short. Spend at least one night. Yes photos of ha long bay are stunning, but you will be more stunned if you actually go there and see them with your own eyes..

The views of the limestone islands in the Bay are stunning, especially if the weather cooperates. Strongly encourage one night on one of the many boats that ply the bay to allow for a less hurried itinerary and the very pleasant experiences of sunrise and sunset views. The boats are highly regulated and must stick to designated areas, but they are enough for lots of enjoyment. Various stops at caves, lookouts, kayaking, and small beach. Very good food on board our cruise with A-Class Stellar Cruises! Cabin was much cleaner and more "luxurious" than I expected..

2 night 3 day cruise with v spirit, highly recommend, magic site even though we didn't go far into the bay. Lots of other boats at times added and detracted from the experience. Highly recommebd taking the extra night. Be careful who you go with as we heard some horro stories. Recommend v spirit great people, great service and food..

Just go and enjoy.. We stayed in a local boat Signagture over night so had a great opportunity to spend time just looking at the stunning scenery.. we also went canoeing to see some hidden away caves..

Halong Bay has been a dream of mine to visit for so long. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I could never get tired of the views! The colours and layers of all the cliffs and mountains are spectacular. Just make sure you find the right cruise - ours was overpriced and not worth it so do your research first! Also don't be surprised that there are a large number of boats around at night as they all park up together, but during the day we seemed to be on our own quite a lot. I think in the future this place won't be so nice as there is already so much rubbish floating around that it will continue to accumulate. Save this place by not littering and taking any rubbish back with you that you can..

This area has been a World Heritage Place among seven wonders of nature since 1994. What a beautiful spot on earth. A Halong Bay with its breathtaking beauty was undeniable and it is the most popular site to visit in Hanoi. There are many other things to do pay on the bay as well, like caving many many caves to choose from. Very helpful and informative and fun as well. If by overnight cruise, you can kayak by yourself to discover the bay, the cave more exciting..
